Community Partnered Research

Dr. Wright is committed to establishing, nurturing, growing, and sustaining partnerships with community-based organizations, clinics, and schools. She conducts community-partnered research, where she matches research methods and evidence-based practices to community needs. Her work is grounded in community-based participatory research principles of power sharing, building resilience and creating knowledge. Her priority is to create real world impact. She has enthusiastically shared authorship with partners on conference presentations and peer-reviewed articles published in leading journals in the field such as the American Public Health Association and School Mental Health, respectively.
